Rev. Donald C. Roe, Senior Pastor
Pastor Don Roe has been senior pastor at FFUMC since July 2000. Previously he served churches in La Habra, Long Beach, Norwalk, Chino and Hacienda Heights. Pastor Don is involved in community affairs in the City of Fullerton as well as denominational concerns in the United Methodist Church. He is an avid lover of books as well as train travel and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He and his wife Gaylen are parents of two grown children, Andrea and Matt. Andrea was recently married to Jon West.
Rev. Mickey Jessup, Evangelism and Care Ministries
Pastor Mickey Jessup is Assistant Pastor and works in Invitational Hospitality, Supportive Care and Family Ministries. She does Pastoral Counseling and keeps time available to meet with community residents who may request some spiritual direction. She is available by appointment only. Pastor Mickey has been at FFUMC since August 2005 and loves to work with new members and young families. She enjoys traveling and loves being with her four children and four grandchildren.
Rev. Mary L. Hibbard, Adult Ministries and Outreach
Mary is a Wisconsin native and graduated from the University of Wisconsin (a Big Ten University) in 1963. Yes, she is a Badger and a "Cheesehead." She came to California in 1969 and taught kindergarten in Anaheim City Elementary and attended Claremont School of Theology from 1973 to 1975. From 1975 to 2005 she worked full time at the Anaheim United Methodist Church. After 30 years, Mary retired in June 2005 and is now a part time Associate Pastor at FUMC responsible for Adult Ministries and Mission/Outreach. Mary loves being at her new church and its most loving and friendly church family.
Louise Green, Office Administrator
Louise Green came to our church in September of 1999 as Office Administrator being responsible for all the duties that support our entire staff and all members of our congregation. She can certainly tell you all you need to know about Fullerton First United Methodist Church. Her creative side allows her to design, do floral arrangements, and decorate our sanctuary for all our religious seasons and special holidays.
Greg Fowler, Maintenance Supervisor
Greg has been working at Fullerton First United Methodist Church for the last 25 years, the last 6 of those as the Maintenance Supervisor. Greg has the large task of overseeing the upkeep on the entire building and making sure the congregation has a safe and inviting place to worship. He has also enjoyed participating in past productions of the church, including playing Jesus in a recreation of the "Last Supper.
Don Barter, Treasurer
Don Barter has been treasurer since 2002. Mr. Barter graduated from Humboldt State University with a BA degree in Geography which he parlayed into a career in community banking, working in administration. When not worrying about the finances of the church he enjoys traveling and photography.
Sue Lynch, Director of FFUMC Nursery School
Sue is currently in charge of the Fullerton First United Methodist Church Nursery school, overseeing the beginning of Christian education for our oungest members. Sue has been a church related nursery school teacher or director for over 25 years
Susan Faber, Director of Youth Ministries
Susan has been doing youth work for over 10 years. She started her ministry at her home church La Mirada UMC before coming to FFUMC in January of 2006. Susan is very involved in the Cal-Pac Conference with Youth Ministry as well. She has lived in Fullerton for over 20 years and has strong community ties. She also wears the mom hat! Her daughter Millie is her pride and joy!
Kim Galea – Director of Children’s Ministries
Kim has been involved with Children’s Ministries at FFUMC for more than 25 years. She has taught Sunday School, planned programs, directed the cherub choir, directed Vacation Bible School, and recently became co-director of children’s ministries. Kim has a Bachelor Degree in Child Development and Child Psychology. She’s very involved in volunteer work in the community and spends as much time as possible with her husband and four children.
Brandon Brack, Director of Music
Brandon Brack is the Director of Music at Fullerton First United Methodist Church. At FFUMC, he directs the Aldersgate Chorale, FFUMC Children's Choir, and contemporary praise ensemble. He serves on the voice faculty at Fullerton College and is the tenor section leader of the Pacific Chorale. As a singer, he has performed with such groups as Chanticleer, the Oregon Bach Festival Chorus, the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, and the Detroit Symphony, and is a frequent soloist with the Pacific Chorale and John Alexander Singers. He has directed choirs at the University of Michigan, the University of California-Berkeley, the San Francisco Girls Chorus, as well as the men’s ensemble Musaic. Brandon holds a B.M. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, two Master of Music degrees from the University of Michigan, and will begin a doctorate in choral music at the University of Southern California this Fall.
Hyeyeon Kim, Organist
Hyeyeon was born and raised in South Korea and studied church music and organ in college. She has been in the United States for only four years. At first, she felt it was a culture shock but she now enjoys living here. Hyeyeon is married to Daniel who she dated through emails across the Pacific Ocean and they now have a son, Christian, who just turned 21 months old.. In her spare time, Hyeyeon likes to cook and enjoys doing things with her hands like cross-stitching. She is also working to perfect her English. She loves to play organ and piano. Most of all, she enjoys sharing her music with the congregation and feels blessed to be an organist at FUMC.
